Fizza Aslam | Route89 | Monday-Friday – 8pm-10pm

Ola! My name is Fizza Aslam and I’ve been a Radio Jockey for over 15 years! I was 18 when my father took me for an audition at CityFM89 and I haven’t looked back since.

Being a Radio Jockey has given me the chance to meet and interview so many wonderfully talented people. From international stars like Jay Sean to local legends like Atif Aslam, Abida Parveen and EsaKhelvi to name a few. It’s been a phenomenal experience.

Radio also gave me the flexibility to dabble. I acted for a sitcom on ARY for a year, headed the Marketing department for a high-end realtor and finally started a business I’ve been working on for years.

Sabah Bano Malik | Full Disclosure |
Saturday & Sundays – 5pm-7pm

Hello, hello! My name is Sabah Bano Malik, I have been an RJ for a little over 2 years now, finding my way to an audition with CityFM89 after I was scouted while doing stand-up comedy with the feminist comedy group Auratnaak, I am a founding member of their Islamabad chapter. Being on the radio has given me the license to explore with my listener’s topics of conversation that I am privileged enough to be able to have safely myself but others do not have the platform to do so. It’s been eye-opening to others’ experiences and to be able to connect using my own. I also absolutely love knowing I am introducing people to songs and artists they have not heard of before, sometimes even whole genres! In addition to being on the radio, I am also a full-time journalist covering off-beat, human interest and socioeconomic stories and do stand-up comedy with Auratnaak.
