Immigration Comes At A Cost

Most Gen Z people are trying to leave Pakistan. However, it is important to remember that leaving the country does not guarantee a better life.

There is still a lot of hard work, hustling, and physical effort involved in maintaining a home and surviving inflation.

Considering that most Gen Z people come from sheltered environments, how can we equip them with the skills to deal with these challenges?

Here are some ways to equip Gen Z with the skills to deal with the challenges of living abroad:

1. Teach them about financial literacy. Gen Z needs to know how to budget, save, and invest their money wisely. They should also be aware of the different types of insurance and how to protect themselves financially.

2. Help them develop soft skills. Soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, are essential for success in any environment. Gen Z needs to be able to communicate effectively, work well with others, and think critically.

3. Expose them to different cultures. By exposing Gen Z to different cultures, they can learn about different customs and traditions. This will help them to be more adaptable and open-minded when they move to a new country.

4. Encourage them to be resilient. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges. Gen Z needs to be able to handle disappointment and failure. They should also be able to learn from their mistakes and move on.

By providing Gen Z with the skills and knowledge they need, we can help them to be successful in any environment, regardless of where they live.
