Pheby Haroon- Providing Balanced Solutions

Pheby Haroon, the force behind PH Solutions, a company that has gained immense reputation in image building, influencer representation, celebrity management, and PR. She is a creative and progressive person who has made her name in the industry after almost a decade of hard work and consistency.

We met Pheby during a very happening event that her company was managing and had a great time chatting with her about life, work, and everything in between.

Describe yourself in three words

Pheby: Strong, confident & progressive

Something you wish you knew 5 years ago

Pheby:  I wish I knew how important self-exploration is. Getting to know yourself can lead you to be a more emphatic person, who is better able to inspire others as well. Finding inner peace is now my top priority. Having a deeper understanding of ourselves has many benefits. It can help you understand and accept who you are, it improves your self-esteem, communication, and relationships.

What’s your favorite thing about yourself

Pheby: My personality. I connect with people instantly on an intimate level. I am an understanding person and my communication skills make it easier for me to make friends.

How did you end up in PR and what is your take on the future of this industry

Pheby: I have been very independent since a young age. I have been working since I was a student and just 16 years old. So, when I came back to Pakistan after my graduation, I did an internship with Munib Nawaz. After that, I started my company ‘Phegency’ in 2011 which was one of the first few celebrity management companies of its time. Working with amazing celebrities like Zeba Bakhtiar lead me to bigger and better things. Eventually, I partnered with Rasikh Ismail Khan to start PH Solutions, which is now also a leading PR agency.

The future of PR is bright no doubt. When we talk about any brand, I feel the different mediums of communicating it’s message need to be interconnected to make an impact. Therefore, a consolidated idea combined with digital, PR, and conventional media is the best way to go.

The biggest hurdle you had to face in your professional journey

Pheby: I wouldn’t say there was any single big hurdle. Ups and downs are part of life but overall it has been a great ride up till now. As a woman, I know my strengths. I use my experience and skills in the best way possible to deal with day to day issues. My focus has been on being around positive people which has been a huge help over the years.

Which person has influenced you most in life

Pheby: My mother. She is a very strong woman. I have seen her journey managing it all and managing it so well. Which inspires me to be like her and balance my work as well as personal life as seamlessly as she does.

How do you wind down when you’re not working

Pheby: I have a 3-month-old child. So obviously every minute I get, I like to spend with him.

What does being an effective boss woman mean to you

Pheby: Being emphatic, motivated, driven, and yet being someone who can compartmentalize different aspects of life successfully.

What is your message for all the potential boss women out there?

Pheby: Self-assessment is very important. Never adhere to the rules set by society, instead understand what you want and then aim for your goals. Equip yourself with skills that can make you self-sufficient and always know that your power is your mind. Use your ideas wisely.
